The second book in this series (following dragon slippers). I preferred this book to the first one. The author quickly hooks the reader in and it’s hard to put this book down. Ideal for anyone who loves dragons, adventures and action. I really like the balance between having a strong female hero (Creel) and yet beautiful capturing all the other characters, including the dragons. A great twist part way through which I wasn’t expecting - brilliant.
