Alex Rider 4 Cd: Eagle Strike
Anthony Horowitz
Reluctant MI6 agent Alex Rider is relaxing in the south of France until a sudden, ruthless attack on his hosts plunges him back into a world of violence and mystery - and this time, MI6 don't want to know. Alex is determined to track down his friends' attackers, even if he must do it alone. But it's a path that leads to a long-buried secret - and a discovery more terrible than anything he could have imagined.
Reviews
I love this book. It’s exciting and there’s lots of scary scenes in the book where you don’t know what’s going to happen.

I liked this book a lot because of how unpredictable it is. Horowitz finds the weirdest ways for people to die. Cray had drowned someone in pennies. I liked the way that Alex found it so easy to crack that game and the way that he did it without MI6 and even without them knowing! What I don’t like is the way that so many people are killed in horrifying ways.

I think it is the best book out if the 4 Alex Rider books I have read as it is none stop action and never stops you wanting to stop reading. My favourite part the game that Damian Cray created was in real life and he had to beat it with his life on line, not just a video game. I would recommend this book to someone who enjoyes exciting adventure and a bit of blood.

A good book, but not as good as the other Alex rider stories. You do need to read this to understand the future books though.
