Flying Blind (The Dragon Diaries 1)
Deborah Cooke (Author)
I will shift shape and I will cast dreams and I will be everything that I am forecast to be. I am the Wyvern. And I will claim my birthright, right here and now. Zoe Sorensson is a perfectly normal teenage girl. That's the problem. She's always been told she's destined for great things - she is a dragon shape shifter, a Pyr, and the only female one of her kind. But Zoe's powers are AWOL, so she's sent to Pyr boot camp. Zoe quickly realizes that she has to master her powers yesterday, because the Pyr are in danger and boot camp is a trap. The Mages want to eliminate all shifters and the Pyr are next in line -unless Zoe and her friends can work together and save their own kind.
Reviews
This is an amazing book. It is one of the best books I have read in an long while. It takes about one chapter before you get into it, but it the becomes amazing. It is all about a girl who is apparently going to be the next Wyvern(a special dragon shape shifter) but she is just an normal teenager. When her best friend starts getting bullied she remarkable nearly transform into her dragon. Suddenly enrolled in boot camp Zoe must make sure she can show everyone in the Pry and herself that she is the destined Wvyern. Then when a cute human boy comes along and starts flirting and helping Zoe become the Wvyern. Suddenly a mysterious boy called Adrian comes along and is putting the adult Pry in danger and her fellow boot camp members. Zoe is the only one who can save them all from being eaten by Mages. Will Zoe be able to do it? Or has she realised all of this to late? It is time to test Zoe's Wvyern powers to the limits. This is an action packed book. Great for people who liked to be kept guessing till the end.
