Not so very long ago, Eragon - Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider - was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now, the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders. Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss.

A seriously good page turner

I would definitely give this book five stars! I really enjoyed reading it and couldn’t wait to read more. Eragon, Saphira and Arya are my favourite characters. I like Saphira because she is kind, clever has a good sense of humour and loves Eragon. I like Arya for similar reasons and was really pleased when she became a Rider and queen. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends and anyone who likes adventure and dragons. I think it was quite a sad ending because Eragon was leaving Nasuada, Arya, Fírnen, Orik, Roran, Katrina, Ismira and everyone else forever. The books in the Inheritance Cycle are now some of my favourites!

Inheritance picks up right where its predecessor, Brisingr, left off. The rebel forces of the Varden, led by Nasuada, are on the brink of an all-out assault on the Empire, ruled by the tyrant king Galbatorix. Eragon, now a seasoned Dragon Rider, faces his greatest challenge yet: confronting Galbatorix, whose power is unparalleled and whose mind is twisted by madness. The novel took me on a journey across Alagaësia as Eragon, Saphira, and their allies fight to overthrow the corrupt regime. Along the way, they face numerous challenges, including the might of Galbatorix’s armies, the cunning of his right-hand man Murtagh, and the dark magic that the king wields. The final showdown is both epic and intimate, as Eragon must confront not only Galbatorix but also the doubts and fears that have plagued him throughout his journey.

I’d give it six stars if I could.THE NUMBER ONE BESTSELLER I began with Eragon . . It ends with Inheritance. Not so very long ago, Eragon - Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider - was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now, the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders. The Rider and his dragon have come farther than anyone dared to imagine. But can they topple the evil king, Galbatorix, and restore justice to Alagaèsia? And if so, at what cost?

This is the fourth and final released story in the inheritance series and this wonderful fictional book is a piece of amazing work. There is many characters in this novel but my favourite is still Arya she is a wonderful strong character and i think she deserves the reward at the end. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a young adult that likes mysterious books about dragons.

It was amazing. I really liked the way that at the end Arya also turned out to be a dragon rider. Also Mughtagh was freed from his oath to Galbatorix and Nassuada was queen of the empire.

A fantastic book. Ended the saga well, a thoroughly worthwhile read! My favourite character was Eragon as he was brave and valiant. I would recommend this book to someone else although they will have to read the first three books of the saga and devote a lot of time to do this.
