I think the Mayor was mean not to give the Pied Piper the money he had promised when he got rid of the rats. But I thought the Pied Piper was also very mean to take the children of the town away. Their families would have been very sad and miss them

It was a funny book.I liked the pied piper best because he has a pipe.

My favourite character was the boy at the end of the book because he lets everyone know that the children will never come back, ever again.
