The Otter Who Wanted to Know
Jill Tomlinson, Paul Howard
antics by Jill Tomlinson. Pat is an adorable little sea otter. She likes turning up her toes and floating in the sea, chasing fish and asking a hundred and one questions. One day Pat's quiet life is turned upside down when she gets caught up in a pretty scary adventure. Suddenly she doesn't have time to ask any questions, and even if she did, no one would know the answers. This time Pat just has to find things out for herself! Filled with gentle humour and comfort, Jill Tomlinson's animal stories have been enjoyed by children who want to snuggle down with a good read for decades. This edition of The Otter Who Wanted to Know is beautifully illustrated by Paul Howard.

This book was really funny. It is similar to other Jill Tomlinson books because it is about animals and they meet a human.

I liked Pat who was the otter because he was so funny because he called one of the men “FishFace!” It was because the men kept feeding them fish.

An otter wanted to ask questions to find out all the answers so he could tell his children when he became a parent. There are some funny names in here, like 'fish face' and 'white hair'.

My book was fiction. I didn’t really enjoy reading this story, it was very long book. The person who I liked the best was Bobby. I would recommend if they like Otters.
