This book is about Porcupine wanted to go to a dance competition but he only needed a partner but he was to prickly so nobody wanted to dance with him. Which he was really sad and try to put a thick coat to cover his prickles but his prickles poked out. next he tried putting corks on his prickles but all fell off then he decided to go to the hairdresser to cut his prickles off but the rabbit the hairdresser had an better idea and said see her at the dance tonight. Porcupine arrived at the dance and all other animals was already there and soon the rabbit arrived with her paws wore with thick oven glovers. Which they both went in and began to danced and the Judges gave them the first prize and he was delighted and thanked rabbit and all the animal danced together all night long with porcupine.

I thought it was a very good book and it was very interesting and funny. I liked the rabbit because she was very smart and helped the porcupine. Yes, I would recommend it to some one else because it is very funny and entertaining.

I love the story of this poor Porcupine who loved dancing but he was too prickly for anyone to dance was him, which was sad but rabbit had a great idea to wear oven gloves and they all dance with him :) it is a fiction story and i recommend this book

I would recommend it to others. I like to be a dancer. I like rabbit the best because she made an excellent plan.

It’s really funny because the porcupine asks for a partner for the dance but no one wants to dance so he try’s several ways to not be prickly. Rabbit came with gloves and was able to dance with porcupine.

My mum says that it’s her favourite Leapfrog book because she liked the porcupine as he was shy and nervous. Rabbit said meet me at the dance tonight and porcupine did just that!
