Oliver is a young wizard. There is a raffle at school and he wins but he is very disappointed by his prize. It was a ugly monster picture but it turns out it was actually a real monster that jumped out of the painting and grabbed Oliver and ran away with him. His mum got such a fright!! I never saw that coming

I thought it was a good book and my favourite character was Oliver. My favourite part of the story was when Oliver got kidnapped by Arabella the witch.

I really liked this book because Olivier moon went to a challenge and got a raffle ticket and won first place but he didn’t get the tickets he got a poster instead. I liked the scary green monster. I think my friends would like to read this book.

Oliver Moon is a boy wizard who lives with his sister Witch Baby and his wizard parents. They attend Oliver's Magic School fair where Oliver wins a prize in a raffle-a horrible painting of a monster. Oliver takes his prize home and, to his astonishment,discovers that the monster wants Oliver to solve a mystery. When Oliver succeeds, the monster takes him to the High Witch Arabella,who created him. The whole story has got a happy end and Oliver comes back to his parents.
