I really love this book and the mystery around the manuscript and grail. My fovourite character was Simon and I especialy like the bit were he falls waist deep in water . I also enjoy the epologe and when Barney finds out something secret about great uncle Merry's true identity... I would recomend this book to strong readers in year 5 and all year 6.

Was ok. Bit too long. Got boring. Bad ending.

I enjoyed reading it even though I have listened to it on audio. Reading it means you don't miss some of the detail

I really enjoyed it with the adventure and excitement. My favourite character is Gumerry because he is really kind and awesome!

The thing that made me want to read on was the suspense. The characters are brave and daring. They have unexpected challenges to face on there holiday. With the help of Great Uncle Merry they find the reward of all their hard work.
