Spy Cat: Summer Shocker!
Andrew Cope
Spy Cat is the first exciting adventure in this brand new series by Andy Cope, author of the bestselling Spy Dog and Spy Pups series for young readers of 7+. The purrrfect spy is prowling a neighbourhood near you. There's a new secret agent in town. And this one has whiskers. Shakespeare, the ginger tabby, otherwise known as Agent 009, never officially signed up to protect the Cook children but in the world famous Spy Dog's absence, he was most definitely the best pet for the job. Shakespeare has some very big (and furry) boots to fill. And with a dangerous criminal on the loose near by to where the Cooks are camping, he may need all nine lives to do it! Praise for Andy Cope: 'An imaginative, creative feast' - Radio Times Andy Cope is the author of the bestselling and multi-award-winning Spy Dog and Spy Pups series. Spy Dog was the winner of the Richard and Judy 7+ developing reader category as well as the prestigious Red House Children's Book Award.

It is definitely a book for animal lovers and it is also quite funny. The only thing about it is that all the books are basically the same thing happening every time! Apart from that it’s amazing

I recommend this book to those who love animals and adventure. This book has it smashed into one. From a stray cat to a spy cat, will Shakespeare stop the escaped prisoner from doing anymore harm?

I thought that this book was soooo boring😕when I first starting reading it, but then the plot changed and it was great!!! A few parts were boring but overall I loved it and the other books in the series are good too!😀Basically, Shakespeare (the cat) has found a nice family who sometimes pet him. Lara is the family dog and is their protector. Licensed Assault and Rescue Animal (Lara) is no ordinary dog though. With her gone, the Cook family have no protector. It's up to Shakespeare to look after them, especially when there's a criminal on the loose. But will he look after the family and save the day?
