Reviews
Oh. That’s what I was thinking throughout this book. I actually enjoyed this book so much! I felt reluctant to begin this book, but I liked it! I definitely liked the style a little more in the second book, and the storyline was better in a way. It felt a little slow to start, but the ending was really good. Excited to get the sequel! 4stars! I would also recommended this book to fans of the Percy Jackson adventures.

I loved the book. It's about the kanes trying to reawaken Ra. Carter of course. I'd read the first book and really enjoyed it. No.

This is a really exciting and adventurous story. It is the second book in the Kane Chronicles series. Carter and Sadie Kane, brother and sister, are descendants from both pharaohs and magicians which allows them to host gods and do magical things. Together with two of their magician trainees, they have to go on a perilous quest to find three scrolls in order to awaken Ra, the sun god, who might be able to stop the evil serpent of chaos from destroying the world. Meanwhile, Carter has a girlfriend, Zia, who is under a deep sleep in a far away village. While Sadie is still on the main quest, Carter decides to leave for Zia's village and awaken her. They all have lots of adventures trying to find the three scrolls. It is a very good book, I would really recommend it!
