Fire and Ice (Warrior Cats, Book 2)
Erin Hunter
The second of six titles, set in a rich feline fantasy world. Firepaw, the warrior brave, is now Fireheart, warrior cat. Fireheart finds new danger lurking in the woods as the chill of winter sets in. This new series will have particular appeal for fans of Brian Jacques’ Redwall series. Fireheart could hear a roaring around him, like wind in tall trees. The acrid stench of the Thunderpath stung his nostrils, together with a new smell, sharper and more terrifying. Fire! WindClan is missing, and hostilities between the remaining three clans place all the cats in peril. Illness and tragic accidents weaken the camp, and ThunderClan needs all its warriors to defend itself… but Fireheart suspects that certain cats may not be as loyal as they appear.
Reviews
My favourite character was Blue star because she is very wise and the leader of Thunder clan. I liked when Fire heart finds out, that Tiger claw, the clan deputy, had murdered Red Tail (the previous deputy).

I really liked it, it was awesome. Some bits were scary but always a happy ending. The story was gripping and I didn’t want to stop reading it! I loved the romance between the two cats which carried on through the story.

love it. so interesting and couldn't stop thinking of it. Greystoke literally betrayed his best friend Fireheart and his leader and clan. Silverstream is nothing better they are as bad as brokenstar and Ashfur
