Enid Blytons books always want me wish so much I was in her world; this one is no different. It's so sweet, and everything's ok in the end.

I loved this book! The story is about Darrell Rivers moving to a boarding school for the first time. She makes lots of friends and learns to control her anger. Darrell can be mischievous and plays pranks on her teachers. Her best friends are Sally Hope and Mary Lou. My favourite bit of the story was when all of the parents came to Malory Towers to visit because it reminded me of the St Margaret’s prize giving and sports day. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend.

I liked Sally and Mary-Lou the best because by the sound of it, Sally looks a bit like me! She is also very kind and Mary-Lou is very sweet. My leas favorite characters are Gwendoline and Alicia because Gwendoline is spoilt and mean and Alicia is often playing silly pranks.

A great read! It lets you see and experience somebody else’s life. Darrell goes through ups and downs but the shows you what boarding school was like especially quite a long time ago. I would definitely recommend the book. Darrell is my favourite character and she is sort of the main character as well but there are many other characters as well so you are likely to find your favourite! If you have already read the book watch the series on Netflix. I Love it X

A really good and classic book. If you haven't read it you have really missed out! Darrell is a real sport and has two sides one that shows you the hard side of boarding school and one that is just good fun at the best of times. There are pranks, meanies and of course friends. I will definitely recommend this book to my friends.

I thought this book was full of advice to apply in real life.I like that Enid Blyton also makes it funny and interesting without overloading it with adjectives. My favourite part was when Irene forgot her health certificate.Overa ll,I think the author has done a very good job of slipping life lessons into an attractive book.
