Intriguing and engaging to the reader with sensational suspense. A great story with ups and downs and a great recommendation to any novice reader. Useful information of World War II of how the Germans invaded the Netherlands and a girl desperately wanting the Nazis to leave the Netherlands.

Ian was my favourite character because he was a good brother to his sister Edda. He was also brave. I also found the history that the story was based on really interesting,
