I really like the stories of Amelia Fang and her friends (Squashy, Florence, Grimaldi, etc). I like when she becomes friends with Tangine, and the discoveries they do. These books are fun and entertaining.

This book is about a girl called Amelia Fang.She goes to see the king and hopes to play with the kings son.The kings son called tangine is very spoilt but no one knows the reason behind it. When squashy goes missing Amelia's pet pumpkin Amelia is determined to get him back but it isn't as easy as she thought.Can Amelia get sqaushy back and get to the bottom of why tangine is being so horrible. My favourite character is squashy because he is so cute and funny.

It was very good, but in some parts it was a little bit boring and I found the characters not really interesting. The actual book was okay, but I think it could be slightly funnier.

I enjoyed this book because it is about vampires and have an interest in vampires. I especially liked the part at the end where there were imaginary monster recipes. I would recommend this book to people who are fond of fantasy because it's a fictional tale.
