It was one of my favourite books and my favourite character is Marty. This book showed me the value of a sister as well. I would recommend it to someone who likes books that have something happening in them.

This book is about two completely different sisters. The eldest one is called Melissa and she is very girly and she loves make-up, pink and black. The youngest one is called Martina but she likes being called Marty. She is a tomboy who loves her toy animals that she created with old socks and pillowcases. Marty hates girly things. They always argue about the slightest of things and they are arch-enemies. Things change when Mum gets a new job of making dresses and she needs a spare room. That means that Melissa and Marty have to share...
