Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
J.K. Rowling, Eddie Redmayne
An approved textbook at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry since publication, Newt Scamander’s masterpiece has entertained wizarding families through the generations. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an indispensable introduction to the magical beasts of the Wizarding World. Scamander’s years of travel and research have created a tome of unparalleled importance. Some of the beasts will be familiar to readers of the Harry Potter books – the Hippogriff, the Basilisk, the Hungarian Horntail ... Others will surprise even the most ardent amateur Magizoologist. This is an essential companion to the Harry Potter stories, and includes a new foreword from J.K. Rowling (writing as Newt Scamander) and six new beasts! Narrated by Eddie Redmayne, this is the first audio book edition of Scamander’s textbook ever to be released. Having starred as Newt Scamander himself in the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, who better to narrate this Hogwarts Library book from one of the Wizarding World’s most famous Magizoologists? Eddie’s film credits include The Danish Girl, My Week with Marilyn, Les Misérables and The Theory of Everything, for which he won a Golden Globe, an Academy Award and a BAFTA for Best Actor. This book is very informative of the popular series Harry Potter and is referring to the things in the Harry Potter world just out of sight. This is the ultimate companion of any Harry Potter book if anyone does not know about the magical creatures. Also has a very interesting introduction, a very good guide to the magical creatures whom Harry and his friends do or do not meet in the series Harry Potter. A very funny read and recommended to anyone who likes the Harry Potter series.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is everything a budding mazooligist needs to find information. From Flavius Belby's narrow escape from a lethifold to the story behind the “loch ness monster”. Newt Scammander's collection of information on many of the most illusive creatures in the wizarding world. I would recommend this to people of all ages.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is probably my favourite book I've read. My favourite creature is the Kelpie because it's one of the most dangerous of them all, it normally forms into a horse it takes the victom to the bottom of the lake and eats them.

This book is fictional but is written in the style of non fiction! Its a pretend text book from Harry Potter. My favourite beast / magical animal is the Puffskein. It looks like a big, fluffy pompom with a long tongue. I would recommend this book.
