Victor Starspeeder is excited to be starting school at the Jedi Academy. His sister, Christina is NOT, in fact, she's horrified that her annoying brother will be there to cramp her style. Victor lands himself in detention more than he means to, supervised by . Yoda. Yoda tries to channel Victor's talents, forcing him to join the drama club: ""Learn to control your anger, you must! Successfully manage their emotions, a good Jedi can. Box step and jazz hands ... hee hee ... young Padawan will!"" Victor will have to make new friends, get on his sister's good side, learn to use the force, and hope that this year's drama club performance (""Wookie Side Story""? ""Annie Get Your Lightsaber""?) goes off without a hitch!

This is the fourth Jedi Academy book. It has new characters and some of the teachers from the previous books. The main character Victor is a transfer from another Jedi Academy. His older sister had already spent a year in this Academy. Victor quickly makes friends in the new Academy but one of them turns out to be a bully and keeps getting Victor into trouble. I really liked the part about the school trip to Endor because of the unexpected help Victor gets in a life-threatening situation. I would recommend this book to people who like the Jedi academy series.

This book was a bit dramatic (sort of mysterious type) and fun to read. I liked lots about it: the way it was wrote, what it was about, the ending and tons more. I liked Yoda (like in the other Jedi Academy review) because, again, he talks backwards. For example: "Clear your mind, you must." He also cares about other people like Victor. I would recommend this book to Star Wars fans (of course) and ages 6-12 or capable readers.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... I loved this book. With some of the same teachers and some different teachers to the original three. With a brand new set of heroes Victor Starspeeder learns the force and becomes a Jedi like his Sister and his late father. My favourite character was Victor Starspeeder. I would recommend this book to people who have read the ones by Jeffery Brown and/or like Star Wars.
