In my opinion this is the best Roman book I’ve ever read and it talks about the cut through celts so I would recommend reading the cut through celts after this one.

Because it says that SPQR stands for senatus populusque romanus. Yes, I would recommend it to someone else.

One of my favourite Horrible Histories books. This book is about Roman history. I thought it was funny. I liked the joke about: “Doctor, doctor, have you got something to keep my teeth in?’ ‘ Certainly Madam, here’s a paper bag.’

I thought the book was good, it was funny whilst giving facts. It told you a lot about the Romans and how they lived. I would recommend this book especially for those kids learning about the Romans at school.

This was a great addition to the "Horrible Histories" series, and helped me to revise my facts on the Romans. It is funny but has a lot of historical accuracy too! Did you know? Emperor Caligula made his BF Incitatus a consul, meaning that he was an extremely powerful ruler in the Roman Empire. So what? Incitatus was his favourite HORSE!

This book explores the history of Rome from Hadrians wall and Julius Caesar to the fall of Rome and the last emperor.
