Christmas miracles come in all sizes! When Lucy finds a lost baby otter she makes a Christmas wish to find him a special new home. But little does Lucy know that it's just the start of the Christmas magic, and that by helping the otter she will help lots of other people, and animals, too! He may only be small, but Lucy's little otter is about to make a big impact! This warm and traditional festive story is an ideal Christmas present for any child who loves animals. Beautifully illustrated throughout by Sophy Williams, illustrator of Holly Webb's animal stories, the simple language and short chapters make it perfect for young readers who are starting to read independently. With a lovely message about caring for others and the environment, fans of Lucy's Secret Reindeer and Lucy's Magic Snow Globe will be unable to resist this new Lucy story!

There was this girl called Lucy and she found a little otter. Then it had plastic on it's neck, so she took the plastic off and when she did so the otters neck was sore and otter did not knew how to swim yet. Lucy tried to find a place in otter sanctuary but till then she looked after it in her grandma rescue centre. I liked Lucy i recommend

I really enjoyed reading this book and I recommend it to you. That just proves we should not throw our litter in the sea because loads pf animals such as otters could get harmed which is terrible Lucy did a great job though and now the river is clean

I thought that this book was awesome. I think that Rosie really didn't need to worry about the concert because she obviously had a great voice (from the praise that she got very often) and at the concert she was awesome. I also think that it was good of Lucy and "the group" to go out and pick up the rubbish form the river to stop another otter getting hurt. The otter was really cheeky to run out of the Centre , though, right before the concert because then Lucy had to chase after him. At least that made Lucy see that she should have wished for Rosie and the otter instead of preteneding that the maagic didn't even exist. It was like she had locked herself away. Now, Lucy wished Rosie good luck and she wished that the otter went to the sanctuary so that he could get out into the river and live a happy life. My favourite charcter is Lucy because she was just so eager to help the little otter and at least she also now knows that the otter is much better off living in the river than with her. It is also very dangerous because although he seems like a really sweet little otter baby now he could grow into a a fully-grown-adult otter and bite Lucy. Lucy defintiely deserved the otter model that she got as an early christmas present from Gran. Also, I think that Lucy's Christmas presents was really cool and nice. The letter that Lucy read must have made her very, very, very happy. I reccomend this book to everyone as it is awesome and amazing.

This was so cute! A girl called Lucy found a baby otter in the river bank. The little otter had rubbish around its neck but lucy saved him and took the otter to her grandma’s rescue centre. But will the little otter get better in time for Christmas?? I loved this book it’s more for younger children but I still loved it. My favourite characters were Lucy, the otter and Lucy’s friends. I recommend this book to children wanting to read a animal rescue book but at Christmas

Sweet fictional story, but also learned real facts about otters. I liked it.

I really liked that it was telling people not to litter as the otter was hurt by some.

I loved this book because I love caring for animals and otters are so cute! My favorite person in the story was obviously Lucy she is so kind and wants everyone to be happy and I love that sense of energy. The only thing I wished they did was they all went and said goodbye to the otter or they could have done the families going to the otter sanctuary so the book could be longer but over all I really enjoyed this book.
