My Very First Castles Book
Abigail Wheatley, Lee Cosgrove
This delightful book is full of scenes of medieval castle life, from delicious feasts to life under siege. Each page covers a different element of castle life, from different rooms like the dungeon and the guard room to castle animals such as horses and falcons. Children can learn how a squire became a knight and how to defend a castle under attack, and special pages show how castles were built and how they have changed over time. With lots to spot and talk about, this is a fun and entertaining way to introduce little children to a fascinating new subject.
Reviews
I like reading about castles. I like the knight page where what they wear is kind of like what spacemen wear.

This was interesting as I like castles. I love the castles I visited in scotland on holiday best and Warwick Castle. This was a factual book as it was real and told me interesting things. I liked the information about moats, drawbridges and knights on big horses best. I have told my friend Max to read it as he likes castles too so would enjoy this book.
