Good book but have read better

This is a fiction book and my favourite character was Tom. I liked the part where they had to fight Solix because it was exciting. I didn't like when the ants were attacking because it made me shivery. I would only recommend it to certain people.

Orla was brave but still, Tom is so cool the way he fights and all his plans are so smart. The author really made it feel real

Solix is a beast ant make out of deadly ants. Tom defeated him by blowing a magic horn.

I really like it when Tom slashes the beast with his sword but the beast actually grows bigger & stronger. I like that they make a new friend

I think that Solix being a massive ant is a nice touch, because ants are usually really small and not deadly but when they form its a different story …
