From the author of Murder Most Unladylike. Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are taking a holiday on the world-famous Orient Express - and it's clear that each of their fellow first-class passengers has something to hide. Even more intriguing: there is rumour of a spy in their midst. Then, during dinner, there is a scream from inside one of the cabins. When the door is broken down, a passenger is found murdered, her stunning ruby necklace gone. But the killer has vanished - as if into thin air. Daisy and Hazel are faced with their first ever locked-room mystery - and with competition from several other sleuths, who are just as determined to crack the case.

Reviews

I liked Daisy because she is really clever and I think Robin Steven’s is really clever to create a book so logical.

The murder was cleverly planned and there are a lot of plot twist and clever moves.

I loved how this book had such a twist at the end and how The Detective Society had some competition this time it just put some pressure on them which was interesting.

This book is amazing! It was really hard to guess the murderer but I loved how they set the scene on a train. My favourite character is Hazel

I was really surprised that it was not who I thought it was because they seemed really suspicious and the clues fitted perfectly.

If you read the other two, then you are probably drawn to this already, but if you haven't, then let me explain why you should read this. The thrills, the crime scenes, the red herrings; best of all, the discoveries! There is just so much to uncover, and it's amazing how Robin Stevens makes it all so unpredictable!

I liked this book, just not as much as the others. When I read this book it kind of felt like I was readind Wild Boy again [just with a little less pazazz].I would give this to a 9-10year old to read. Arwenxxx
