Pirates aren't my favourite thing to read about, but I enjoyed this book. My favourite character was Jim Lad. The best part of the book was when Nugget poked Matilda's dad's belly because he was wearing a funny apron. I liked all of the pictures in the book. I would recommend this book.

I liked it a lot, bones the dog was my favourite for saving Matilda.

I like the book because it is fiction. My favourite caracter was Bones the dog. It is about some pirates and a girl that has the key of souls. They open the chest of souls and the crew of the blackrat sank.

I liked the character of Matilda because she has good ideas. For example, she managed to find the treasure of soul that takes away the ghost pirates.
